Summer term - half term 2 - Week 7 of 8 w/b 10.07.17 (*week 8 is three Training Days so term effectively ends in week 7 - 21.07.17)

Dear Parents and Carers

Welcome to week 7 of 8* this half term

This week in school...

After school clubs have now finished until September...

Thank you to everyone who was able to respond at short notice for our '3rd time lucky' KS1/2 Sports 'Day' last week and came along to support children. We ran out of time for some events with it being an afternoon rather than the intended morning but we feel the combination of KS1 and KS2 together worked well in their Planet Teams and then later splitting for races. Thank you also for the support for Foundation Stage Sports 'Day' and for supporting their brilliant end of year performance - which was fabulous.

  • On Tuesday we are supporting a Breast Cancer Research fundraising event being run by two of our Parents. A letter has been sent out... On Tuesday evening from 6.00pm Year 6 children will present their end of year performance. Tickets are still available from the school office for family and friends
  • On Wednesday it is Foundation Stages' party time between 1.00pm and 3.00pm and in the evening from 6.30pm it is Year 6's Celebration event. We will also hold the final Planet Team reward event for this half term
  • On Thursday children in Year 5 are out on a Bowling experience as they won this year's attendance reward for having the highest overall Class attendance - well done everyone. Also on Thursday it is our summer term certificate Assembly.
  • On Friday from 9.10am our Assembly is for Year 6 leavers and family and friends all welcome.

Friday also brings to a conclusion this academic year as next week's 3 days are Training Days. We wish everyone a good summer break with hopefully good summer weather. The autumn term starts on Tuesday 5th September after a Training Day on Monday 4th.

Thank you for your continued support
