 Spring term - half term 1 - Week 6 of 6  w/b 11.02.19

Dear Parents and Carers      

       Thank you to everyone who came along last week and joined in with Years' 2, 1 and 5 parent/carer activity time. A great time was had with a wonderful range of pets (including a horse!), a trip to the local Post Office to buy stamps and post letters and several Harry Potters were busy making potions and playing Quidditch. We look forward to inviting you back next half term for more shared learning events.

This week in school...

  • On Tuesday it parent/carer consultations for children in Year 6 after school - PLEASE come along
  • On Wednesday parents/carers are invited to share in Y4's learning and enjoy a free school dinner
  • On Thursday parents/carers are invited to share in Y6's learning and enjoy a free school dinner and Y1 parent/carer consultations take place after school - PLEASE come along

We finish on Friday for the half term break and hope everyone enjoys a good week and school opens again on Monday 25th February

Thinking ahead...

  • On Monday 25th February Year 2 children are taking part in a skipping workshop during school time
  • On Friday 1st March we are having a Rockstar dress up day linked to your child's chosen Rockstar avatar linked to their maths learning - letter to follow

WOW! days in Years 3, 4, 5 and 6
WOW! days aplenty this week, with parents and carers invited into school to enjoy a wide range of activities with their children. There were rain forests, Quidditch games, Vikings and team building happening in the different year groups.These are just a selection of photographs taken during the events. After School Sports Clubs

The after school sports clubs are really well attended, with children taking part in netball, football and kick-boxing training.
w/e Friday 01 February 2019
Y3 topped the chart again last week, with 96.13%. Whole school attendance for the year so far, stands at 93.97%.
