Back to school story

We hope you find this useful in supporting you and your child with their learning. On our school website, Facebook page and through Twitter we have already shared many websites, that are freely available, to engage children with a range of enjoyable activities linked to their learning.
We hope you have received your invite via parent mail or in the post to link up with Year 1 Class Dojo. We are looking forward to hearing from you.  Please contact us through Class Dojo with any questions you may have or just to share with us your learning and the activities you have completed.
The link below includes ideas that you and your child could complete at home. We will upload new ideas every 2 weeks. Some of the ideas will be linked to the learning we would have been covering in class at this time along with other activities to hopefully engage the children while they're at home.

White Rose Maths are producing a series of brand new Maths lessons every week to support parents and carers at home. These are great resources. Please see the information below and follow the link in the letter to access the Home Learning resources.
Another Home Learning resource launched today (20/4/2020) is from Oak National Academy. This is a government backed online virtual school. Please follow the link below to access these resources at home.
BBC Bitesize is also producing some great daily lessons to support learning at home. Please see link below

The Royal Mint are also getting involved by creating a kids Hub! There are some great activities, some coin related some not, for the children to do. check out the link below!!

There is no expectation that your child will complete all these activities. They are there as a guide to show parents/carers some of the activities we would have covered this half term.

Thank you for your continued support.

Please stay safe and keep well.
