Leeds Prevent-Online Safety Advice for Parents

Marvellous Music w/c 21st June 2020

Welcome to our Year 2 Home Learning page

(Summer 2nd Half Term)

We hope you find this useful in supporting you and your child with their learning. On our school website, Facebook page and through Twitter we are regularly sharing many websites, that are freely available, to engage children with a range of enjoyable activities linked to their learning.
We are really enjoying receiving messages from you through Class Dojo. It’s lovely to hear from you and to see pictures of all you have been doing. Please contact us through Class Dojo with any questions you may have or just to share with us your learning and the activities you have completed.
The link below includes ideas that you and your child could complete at home. We will upload new ideas every 2 weeks. Some of the ideas will be linked to the learning we would have been covering in class at this time along with other activities to hopefully engage the children while they're at home.
Below is the link to the Year 2 Home Learning 29/6/2020. Don't forget we also upload Maths and English activities into the Class Stories section of Class Dojo EVERY DAY to support you and the children with their home learning.
White Rose Maths are producing a series of brand new Maths lessons every week to support parents and carers at home. These are great resources. Please see the information below and follow the link in the letter to access the Home Learning resources.
Another Home Learning resource launched today (20/4/2020) is from Oak National Academy. This is a government backed online virtual school. Please follow the link below to access these resources at home.
BBC Bitesize is also producing some great daily lessons to support learning at home. Please see link below

Please take a look at our new SEND Home Learning/Resources page on the website for resources to support the children understanding Covid-19 and for links to lots of information and resources to support children with additional and Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
There is no expectation that your child will complete all these activities. They are there as a guide to show parents/carers some of the activities we would have covered this half term.
Thank you for your continued support.

Please stay safe and keep well.
