Summerfield Primary School

For any parents/carers looking for Reception places for 2025/2026 our open day events are Tuesday the 19th of November 3.30pm-5.30pm, Tuesday the 3rd of December 10.00am -11.00am, Thursday the 5th of December 1.00pm- 2.30pm. If these times are not convenient for you please contact the school office to arrange an alternative visit.

Flourishing Families will be in school on Thursday, completing a cooking course with some of our parents/carers and children. This is a 6 week programme.

This week each class will participate in a Robotics workshop. They will build moving objects from LEGO.

We have a 'Book Fair' in school this week. Books will be on sale after school in the hall Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. We will also be selling books at our Christmas Fayre.

Our Christmas Fayre will take place on Wednesday the 4th of December at 5pm-7.00pm.

The last day of this half term is Friday the 20th of December 2024.  We return to school on Monday the 6th of January 2025.

Friends of Summerfield (PTA)

Friends of Summerfield

We have a PTA at our school known as 'Friends of Summerfield'. We organise many events to raise funds to support the children at Summerfield with school activities and to buy extra resources.

The Friends of Summerfield meet in school and organise fayres , discos and other events.  We're always looking for new members to organise and support at events.

Monies previously raised have paid for resources for our ‘Zen Den’ and ‘Calm Cabin’, coaches for our residential visits in Y6 and Y4, support with class visits and developing the pond area.
