Year 6 - Remote Learning Information

Thank you for your patience and support as we adapt/learn how to teach in a very different way.  Like many of you, it is new to us too and is certainly not without its challenges.

Each week, a timetable will be sent via Class Dojo and also be added to each weekly 'Remote Learning' tab on our Year 6 website page.  The timetable will include the times for 'live teaching' sessions.  Your child will receive an invite to each 'live' session through Microsoft Teams.

All learning lessons/activities  will continue to be sent via Class Dojo and be placed in the relevant week on the website.  Please be aware that some resources can only be sent via Class Dojo due to copyright laws.

We will continue to post the learning on a daily basis, so that you are not overwhelmed with too much all at once.

Please record  learning in the exercise books sent home.  Photographs of learning can be uploaded onto Class Dojo or emailed to: year6@summerfieldprimary.org.uk

SATs may have been cancelled for 2021, but we will be still covering all the main objectives to ensure your child is ‘high school’ ready whilst learning from home.  Our topics just may change or be taught in a different order to make sure the activities can be taught remotely.
