BBC Bitesize Recognising Genre. There are quite a lot of things to do in this session. Work you way through but Activity 3 (writing a story) is optional.

Reading
Independent reading - read aloud to someone in your house. This might be an adult or a sibling.

Choose an object in your house.
Imagine that is has a hidden use that you never knew about before. e.g. a lamp normally used to bring light to a room actually sends dogs to sleep!
Describe what it can do and draw a picture.
Maths
Mathletics activities - Short Division and Remainders using Tables
Screen Free afternoon – choose at least one activity from the list.
Send a picture of what you did!
